How does NeuroGrammar™ Work?
NeuroGrammar™ uses its advanced neural-network artificial intelligence algorithms in order to analyse every noun phrase and verb phrase in every sentence for syntactic and semantic errors. NeuroGrammar™ uses our internet server in order to perform grammar checking. An internet connection is mandatory for its usage: at least an ISDN, ADSL or a faster internet connection is recommended.
Spelling and Grammar Language Support
In the very latest version of NeuroGrammar™ the user can choose between:
Why is an Internet Connection Required?
The NeuroGrammar™ knowledgebase exceeds 83 terabytes of information which cannot be installed on your desktop because of its size. The NeuroGrammar™ knowledgebase is accessed via our NeuroGrammar™ Server for which you need an internet connection.
Guaranteed Data Privacy and Confidentiality
Our on-line grammar checking server (NeuroGrammar™ Server) does not store any data because it processes data only in real-time. It never saves any data on the hard disk. Therefore, your privacy and confidentiality are guaranteed.
Checking Speed
NeuroGrammar™ uses an interactive grammar and semantics checking process. After NeuroGrammar™ checks the current sentence the user is given the opportunity to immediately correct the current sentence. NeuroGrammar's checking speed therefore depends on how quickly the user makes his/her corrections.

NeuroGrammar™ Interface
Figure 1: You can type or paste English text for grammar checking in the upper text box. The example sentence has several grammatical errors. To begin the grammar checking process click on the "Start grammar checking" button.
Figure 2: In the middle text box NeuroGrammar™ has marked in red suspicious and/or incorrect words. NeuroGrammar™ is now awaiting for you to decide on which suggestions to accept and act on.
Figure 3: You may choose from alternative words offered by NeuroGrammar™. You can click on any word marked in red and you will be presented with alternative words to choose from. The right-hand popup window shows usage examples for each suggested word. These usage examples are an essential aid for deciding on the correct alternative word within the context of your particular English text.
Figure 4: You can now continue to correct the text. There is a missing word between "morning" and "evening". In this example, it is best to use the "right suggestions" menu on the word "morning", which suggests the most frequent words that usually follow the word "morning". The user has a choice to insert the suggestion between two words or replace the right-hand word entirely with the suggestion. After selecting the suggested word "to", click on the "insert" menu option.
Figure 5: When you are done, click the "Check again" button to check again the entire sentence and to see if there are any new or remaining errors.
Figure 6:In this particular case, the word "sunny" is marked because every sentence must begin with a capital letter. Click on the word marked in blue and you will be presented with alternative words to choose from. Choose the correct form of the word, which is "Sunny", from the right-hand popup window.
Figure 7: When you are done, click the "Check again" button to check again the entire sentence and to see if there are any new or remaining errors.
Figure 8: There are no more errors in the sentence. Click on the "Next sentence" button. Since you have corrected all errors and there are no more sentences to check, the final resulting English text will be presented to you as shown in Figure 9.
Figure 9: The corrected final resulting English text will be displayed in the bottom text box and is automatically copied to the clipboard. You can now simply paste the corrected English text into your word processing software.
